The North-South Electricity Transmission Project for Kazakhstan will ensure that business enterprises and households in southern Kazakhstan have access to adequate, reliable and cost effective supply of electricity. The project consists of the following components: (a) Involves construction of a new 475 km 500 kV single circuit overhead line (OHL) from the air-insulated substation Ekibastuz (1,150/500 kV) to the airinsulated substation Agadyr (500 kV), including a Fiber Optic Communication Line....
