WASHINGTON, November 16, 2010 - The World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors today approved the following project:  IBRD Loan: US$78 million Terms: Maturity = 25 years; Grace = 5 years Project ID: P116919  Project Description: The Alma Electricity Transmission Project for Kazakhstan aims to support the Government of Kazakhstan's efforts to improve the reliability and quality of electricity in a way that is environmentally responsible and financially sustainable to the Almaty region.
